Reading Drought

My great-grandmother used to send us letters that started with, “Just writing you a note to let you know I’m still alive.”

I guess that’s kind of what I’m doing now. I’m just writing you a note to let you know I’m still alive.

I’m two weeks into my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course and life is pretty insane. On top of teaching for three hours a week and spending roughly 12 hours a day either lesson planning, teaching, or in seminars, I have to figure out things about getting my visa, apply for jobs, and hunt for apartments. All this leaves very little time to read anything besides TEFL methodology and lesson plans.

I promise I’ll get back to the list eventually.
